LOCTITE LB 8040 is a specialized mineral oil designed to free corroded and stuck parts. The rapid freezing cools the parts down to -43 °C, creating microscopic cracks in the rust layer. The lubricating ingredients then penetrate directly into the rust through capillary action. The product leaves a thin film that lubricates and protects against rust.
