LOCTITE 5980 is a flange sealant designed for gasket applications. It can withstand low-pressure testing in the pipeline performed after the flanges are assembled. Typical applications include stamped metal covers (timing chain covers and oil pans) where good oil resistance and the ability to withstand high joint movement are required.
